John Dundas
Since beginning his legal career in Peoria in 2000, John has represented and assisted individuals, banks, trusts & estates, insurance companies, governmental entities, and businesses in a variety of legal matters. John has represented clients in trial and appellate courts in both state and federal litigation on issues including contractual and business disputes, insurance defense, trust and estate litigation, secured debts, ERISA, personal injuries, property disputes, construction litigation, forcible entry and detainer, foreclosures, and employment litigation. He has also represented petitioners and respondents in Workers Compensation matters before the Illinois Workers Compensation Commission, and at the state trial and appellate courts. John has assisted individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts & estates with the preparation of tax returns, and has represented clients taxation matters with the Internal Revenue Service, the Illinois Department of Revenue, the Iowa Department of Revenue, and the Illinois Department of Employment Security. He has also assisted clients in the formation of business entities, contract drafting and review, and obtaining and defending liquor licenses. John also provides estate planning services for clients. In addition to his legal work, John serves on the Board of Directors for Goodwill Industries of Central Illinois.
